Applying a Trigger to an Element

You can apply a trigger element to:

• A section element in a form document
• A paragraph element in a paragraph list document

When the document is converted in Studio, each element will appear as a section with a trigger assigned to it. If the condition of the trigger is true, the element will be included in the form or paragraph list.

To apply a trigger to a section element

1. When creating or editing a section element, select the General tab.
2. Click the ellipsis button next to the Trigger field.
3. From the Triggers dialog, double-click a trigger from the table to apply it to the section element.

To apply a trigger to a paragraph element

1. When creating or editing a paragraph element, click the ellipsis button next to the Trigger field.
2. From the Triggers dialog, double-click a trigger from the table to apply it to the paragraph element.

Note

You can also insert a trigger in order to apply it to one more Word paragraphs.
